Dare to bare – The Mens Mesh Revolution

No longer reserved for the party scene, mens mesh tanks and t-shirts are making their way into our everyday wardrobes. For some of us layering is key and for others that glimpse of skin is the statement. No obstruction required! Either way, wearing with confidence is the key to mesh success.

At TEAMM8 we have been using mesh for a few years now. From mesh shorts to mesh tops and even mesh underwear. And you boys love it! One of our most successful releases was the Commander Mesh Tank and T-shirt last year which sold out in no time. You’ve been asking for their return ever since and we listened.

But rest assured, the reason our Mesh was such a huge success was because our see-through level was not garish or over the top, instead we’ve used a weave with just enough skin visibility to keep it stylish and sophisticated.

For those of you unsure how you could work them into your wardrobe or whether mens mesh clothing works, we’re throwing a few super simple styling tips your way.

  1. For mesh virgins we recommend layering. Throw a jacket or hoodie over the mesh tank or t-shirt. Not only will you be getting the much desired textured look of mixing fabrics but you’ll be adding a lot of excitement to an otherwise plain look.
  2. For our braver bros ditch the jacket and team the mesh t-shirt with a pair of your favourite denims and sneakers and you’re ready to turn heads for all the right reasons.
  3. And for our mesh aficionado’s, match the Tank or T with a pair of cut-off denims or gym shorts and show them what confidence looks like.

The most important thing though is to wear it your way. If you feel uncomfortable you’ll look uncomfortable so diss the insecurity and wear it proud. We’ll see you through this! Pun intended!!
