Meet Liam Peel, our January M8 of the Month.

Name: Liam Peel

Age: 26

Current position: I’m currently working on Disney FROZEN, The Broadway Musical in Australia as an ensemble member.

Where is your home team?

I was born and bread on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Who do you play for now?

I live in Sydney now. I moved here when I was 18 years old to study at a full time musical theatre school, ED5International and I fell in love with the city and never left since.

What’s your game plan?

My ambition in life is actually what I’m doing now, I’m living my dream everyday performing in front of people! I feel like I don’t work a day in my life because I’m doing what I love.

What’s your strategy to achieve it?

To continue doing what I love, and to work hard in making the absolute most of every given situation so that I don’t miss a single opportunity that comes my way.

List 1 or 2 ‘gold medal’ moments in your life?

A gold medal moment in my life was getting casted in my first musical Kinky Boots and meeting Cyndi Lauper who created the music for the show.

Who are your champions?

One of my biggest inspirations in life is the great performer Fred Astaire. He inspires me to be a better dancer everyday.

In your opinion, what makes an everyday champion?

I think an everyday champion has a fierce desire to overcome challenges. A champion dreams of things that haven’t come to reality, and believes that they are possible.

What’s your motto?

My Motto in life is ‘fake it til you make it.’
