Meet Ali, our October M8 Of the Month…
Current position: I’m a musician, I also work in digital marketing, and in an agency that manages one of the most famous singers in the Middle East.
Where is your home team?
I’m Syrian. I originally came from the Syrian coast, which consists of the beach and mountain (my two favourite places haha). So I am glad to be from a beach city!
Who do you play for now?
For the last 4 years I’ve been living in in The UAE, Dubai.
What’s your game plan?
My goal is to always be successful in all I’m doing! Being successful and having my own ambitions in life, including my own business in the near future, are very important to me.
What’s your strategy to achieve it?
Simply working very hard for it, and till now everything is going very well. I have already created many successful songs for the singer we manage, and arranged huge concerts in Dubai which are very difficult to mange.
Ali is wearing our Dash Swim Brief in white.
List 1 or 2 ‘gold medal’ moments in your life?
It would have to be when I started working for the first time, and helped support both my family and myself. This is the time where I felt most responsible.
Who are your champions?
In your opinion, what makes an everyday champion?
An everyday champion is someone who doesn’t give up on their dreams.
What’s your motto?
Focus on your goal/s and never say never!
What are you doing in 2020 to keep yourself motivated?
It is important to recognise that these aren’t normal times, and your productivity may not be at its peak right now, and that is okay!
Setting daily goals can help make your day as productive as possible, but be realistic with the goals you set – that is how I have been able to keep myself motivated.
Also training at home or at the gym is one of the important activities I have been doing to keep myself motivated.
