It’s YOUR Time to Shine
We’re still floating on a massive high after our very first participation in the historic and important Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade.
We’re no strangers to the LGBTQI+ community, believe us. We are of the community, for the community and our headquarters have been just off Taylor Square, the hub and hive of LGBTQI+ life for 13 years now. The parade has been at our doorstep for all that time and we were so honoured to be able to be a part of it this year.
It is of course a celebration, and with our 36 strong contingent, we very much wanted to express that. Without doubt there is still work to be done and we should never forget why this parade started in the first place back in 1978. It was a protest, period.
We’ve come a long way and we wanted to make a bold statement that together we are STRONGER and with the support and encouragement of your community, you can shine. You see, nothing beats TEAMWORK!
